IR Blaster Demo 1.10

Demo version of IR Blaster. Use this demo to determine if IR Blaster is compatible with your devices and apps.

Contains all the same functionality as IR Blaster but will stop listening for incoming requests after 20 requests are received.

This application is still in its early stages and has not undergone extensive testing on various devices. Please provide any positive or negative feedback to [email protected] so that any issues can be addressed. Thank you!

There are two reasons why one might consider utilizing IR Blaster:

1. Your current remote control application lacks the capability to manage your built-in IR blaster.
2. You wish to control the built-in IR blaster of one device from a secondary device.

Example usage scenario with a single device:

• Your preferred remote control application can manage an iTach but is unable to control your integrated IR Blaster.
• Install IR Blaster on your device.
• Initiate IR Blaster, set up an iTach IR emulator, and commence the emulator.
• In your remote application, set up a new iTach device using IP address 127.0.0.1 (the loopback self-IP address).
• Your remote application can now regulate your internal IR Blaster.

Example usage scenario with two devices:

• Install this application on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 device.
• Launch the application, add an iTach IR emulator, and begin the emulator.
• Note the IP address and port on which the emulator is listening. The IP address and port are indicated by a colon.
• On a second device, install any application capable of controlling an iTach IR device (e.g., mbhRemote).
• Configure the second device to communicate with the IP address and port that the first device is listening on.
• The second device can now oversee the IR Blaster on the first device.

Requires a hardware device equipped with a built-in IR Blaster.

While utilizing the iTach IR emulator, adjust your remote application to transmit commands to channel 3.

Supported applications:

Any application capable of communicating with an iTach IR device should be compatible with IR Blaster.
